The same answer to your second qustion., the calendar purpose is to show available dates and allow user to select available dates. So before user order he knows what is avaialable and what is not. If one wanted to, they could select a date right before a booked section and a date right after by clicking the calendar... this would allow a customer to book in a time that should not be available. Also, a person can select dates from the drop down boxes that are not supposed to be available. I'm guessing that this script is supposed to be observed thoroughly by the visitor so that a booking conflict does not arise. I have a question about the script itself.
