My England trip
My London Trip began from Heathrow airport where I arrived at 6 am, a huge terminal with big crowd walking thru out the airport cheered me up, different kind of people, black, white, asians, and you realize that you come to the capital of the world!
My people met and took me out to Reading (Berkshire), where I was pointed to work.
We passed few dozens of miles from London/Heathrow to Reading,
Green meadows of a field of England at once have inspired me, on road we have come in Windsor the British flag hung that tells about a presence of queen in the palace, after smoke a cigarette and we have continued the way. We got in Reading, it is administrative centre of Berkshire., Reading it is sufficient average town with the beautiful streets, shops, cafe and restaurants. We parked near to the central department store, had a little walked thru it … what surprised me as my colleague paid 5 pounds for a parking which took no more than a half of a hour, At once realized that what expenses are waited me in UK for the next 15 days!
We met other colleagues and went to have a lunch in one of beautiful fish restaurants, I do not remember how it was called, though. As far as I have understood the fishes are delivered to England from Scotland by the name of dishes in the menu, no doubt, this country is surrounded with the seas so no problems with the any kind of fish selection.
From a window, I observed on the channel and fusing on it of gondolas, frankly, it was a pleasant show.
After the lunch we went to reserve hotel that was about 10 miles from the Reading
The district called Grazeley Green, it was a small village in which I spent about 10 days of my whole trip. The hotel called “ Premier Travel Inn ” which widely spread throughout of UK.
Most likely it was country motel, though with good convenience, cleanliness and service. Next to it was small restaurant under the name “ The Old Bell ” where I had my breakfasts, and had at times dinner. The place was too quiet despite of sufficient quantities of visitors which come restaurant in the evenings. Among the bears I liked Stella, which was kindly soft in taste, but still far way from Bavarian bear.
From Monday till Friday I worked, and waited for that the treasured days off to go to London. About which I will tell here.

Hello Zaur,
I wanted to thank you for inviting me to read your pleasant blog. Travel gives one interesting perspectives, doesn’t it? I had no idea until I read your page that the bird flu had an impact in Azerbaijan? Perhaps— it may be that until we met Azerbaijan seemed a world apart. The web brings us all closer, no?
I myself have never visited London (though Gabrielle has). We are thinking of a trip to Greece and surrounding areas, perhaps in the fall. You should tell us more of your Azerbaijan, and how it was that your nation became independant. We would both find that interesting.
Your distant friends,
Keith & Gabrielle

Hi Keith, actually the danger is already out, that was prevented a few months ago, so we are in safity now.
I have never been in Greecy, however as I know it is place to go, sorounded with too many little islands.
You should visit Turkey too, it is on the same way, wonderfull places in Turkey - Bodrum, Antalia, Gush Adasi…
I’m sure you will have a perfect enjoyment in that area.
Azerbaijan is nearest country to them, and have nice people and places to visit. I would tell about it in my next post
