Just passed 200.000 km

I took this picture today, by mobile camera, when I noted in round numbers on my car’s navigation tab. Yes 200.000 km, and only German cars can stay in this good condition with such big milage. The car is 1987, and it belongs to me about 2 years, this is my 4th car, before I had Mosckvich, and two Ladas.

Mosckvich is assosiated with my teenages, it was my first car, I was so hungry to drive, we drave Mosckvich both my dad and me, it was our both lovely car, despite others made the car fun, we loved it.� I used to take my� friends� at Shikhov beach with this car, the nearest beach to my place in Baku, and make crazy things over there …We listened loud music,� fast ride..� and had have fun….

The second car was Lada, model: VAZ 2106, yes, this is used to be one of the coolest car in our area in� 90ths and even nowdays, Lada� is reliable car, but� its design very common and boring,� in result� I lost my interest to Lada very soon. Though got another, newer one… and drave about 1 year as well.

Finally, I� reckoned to move� to foreign cars,� they� were becoming more and more acceptable in the� local car market and roads, but� I couldn’t afford to� buy a new german car due to high cost.� I was adviced to get used Mercedes than newer Korean or Japan car, because only Mercedes can survive in our� enviroments (roads, technical service, petrol), other cars can’t stand out too long. And my decision was� to buy used Merced of 230E model. Till present time, I ride on this nice, red german horse, “she” is very reliable despite her ages, I can rely on this car� in any situation and circumstances.

Probably� my next car will be BMW, unless I can’t find better model of Merc. As newer Merc models are not so good and reliable, I’m talking about 4 headlights model.

� Most recently I have renewed my car, and now I drive E280 1999 year, Avantgard. Sure this one is much more coller than previos one

International Passport

I recieved my international passwort today. Green certificate what allow you to travel to abroad. Normally, it takes a month to obtain a password, and today is about whole month since� the day I applied for. Today, I got up too late, and reached passwort office at 3pm, it passed 2 hours from the closing time, and the department which issue passworts had been closed. I didn’t want to be upset, and asked an officer who walked around to help me, he refused me saying that working time was off, but after 3 shirvans I offered him, he agreed to help, and I got my new password in 2 minute You see in this country the money solve almost everything. You can speed up the process with them.

Now I’m happy with updated new green password, which will serve for me for the� next 5 years.

Living in building

I’m sick of living in Building (appartment type home), suffer from neighbour on the top, there live lodgers, who don’t care about their appartments condition, young poor students. Sometimes their tubes are broken which spill water down, then I have to referbish some part of my appartment, or they listen loud music at night… I can not find the appartments owner to claim. As far as that goes, I have rights to act legal actions.

I’m thinking of getting property type home, seperate home, to have own roof, walls, yard, no neighbours any more, silent and not nervous. Let’s see… The� problem is that private homes cost expsensive, maybe I will buy empty land, and have my home� built� with own project, would save some money.

Bird Flue in Azerbaijan

I’m missing for a fired chicken, even forget� it’s taste, but how can I go and buy a chicken if there is no sales of it� nor at� local stores, neigher� served� � in restaurants, due to� spreading of bird flue infection. Already few people died on the country, I bet the goverment conceals facts which are more dangerous than we suppose. Less or more we should be more secure in this case …

Still Awake

It’s 6:32 am, and I’m still awake, sleepless working on Mariam’s website,� her manager and she drive me crazy, I remake her website 4th time , mostly up to her, she change her minds over and over� to change color, or layout or anything else. A few days ago she approved new layout, at last! Now I’m working on the other pages content and graphics, will post here the website in portfolio section.

What the great thing Skype is.

To talk� with USA from Azerbaijan by phone cost about 2-3 USD per minute. A few months ago one of my best friends recommended me online� VOIP service by Skype company www.skype.com. Wow, it is perfect think I ever used in the internet, their fee very low, almost free, all you need to put deposit – 10euro into you balance, then talk wherever you want and howlong.

I gave this opportunity to my parents to talk with my monthers brother who live in� California more than� 6 year. Imagine, they talked about one an hour, which would cost me me about 80-90 usd if they talked by usual phone, Thanks Skype!

My uncle and his family very missing for Azerbaijan and us. Despite all USA advantages, motherland remains as motherlands, though they are tight with azeri community in Los Angeles.
